A 19-year-old man was shot Wednesday afternoon after someone outside a home on the 115th block of Perry opened fire into the residence, striking him.
According to preliminary reports, the shooting occurred around 3:32 p.m. The victim was struck in the body while inside the home. His current condition has not yet been released.
Details surrounding the shooting — including a motive, suspect description, or what prompted the gunfire — have not yet been disclosed. Chicago Police have not issued an official statement confirming the full circumstances of the incident at this time.
